THE STORY
As the day ends in Lower Manhattan, the lights that string across the tops of the vendor-filled streets illuminate and serve as a welcoming entrance into the New York neighborhood of Chinatown. The Chinese-populated province is one of the oldest in the country. Chinese immigrants began residing there during the 1850s, incorporating their customs and traditions, all of which remain today underneath the New York skyline.

Our signature pattern offers mid-profile architecture in line with the fit of vintage caps. We line the interior with 100% cotton khaki finishes along with salt and pepper buckram that matches. Our flat bill visor has a tonal wool undervisor that matches the color of the cap. Plastic snapback closures provide flexibility in size and fit.

Our devoted creation process has led us to carefully source an American made woven cotton twill fabric. We have implemented the soft and sturdy thread into our signature mid profile silhouette, producing an authentic fit and feel. The process begins with the weaving together of the 100% cotton twill fibers. The joining of these threads create a hand feel and weight that is unmatched. Resting at 7.5 ounces per square yard our 100% cotton twill produces a thread count of 83x48. This density allows for it to run smoothly through our manufacturing process. The woven twill is then carefully dyed into a flavorful color palette and sourced in 100 yard rolls. The result is an unrivaled softness and robust color assortment, all which make it destined to be a HOOD hat.
