THE STORY
Sitting 8000’ above the sea within the Rocky Mountain skyline, Aspen boasts as a retreat for the outdoor enthusiast and Hollywood elite. Named after the copious amount of trees which surfaced the area, Aspen has been called home to the likes of Hunter S. Thompson, who unsuccessfully ran for political office there under the Freak Power ticket. Aspen’s humble origins can be traced to the Colorado Silver Boom where it served as a mining camp.

Our signature pattern offers mid-profile architecture in line with the fit of vintage caps. We line the interior with 100% cotton khaki finishes along with salt and pepper buckram that matches. Our flat bill visor has a tonal undervisor that matches the color of the cap. Plastic snapback closures provide flexibility in size and fit.

Our delicate cashmere fabric has been hand-picked for construction on our signature mid-profile silhouette. The smooth wool flannel fibers are harvested in the spring, sheared off of the backs of goats. The pure virgin cashmere threads are then dyed and woven together through the use of a power loom. This intertwining process creates a textile that stands at 58/60 inches wide. The durable yet soft cashmere is then prepped to uphold the demands of our manufacturing process all while maintaining its natural hand feel. A bridal satin undervisor adds texture to the story and the result is an unmatched softness and authentic look which make it destined to be a HOOD hat.
